About FASEB

The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology (FASEB) is an umbrella organization of biomedical-research societies, of which the ASCI has been a constituent since 1998. FASEB is active across many areas of science and public policy, although its primary focus is funding of research through the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, and other U.S. granting agencies. The following ASCI members represent the Society's interests in FASEB's governance:

  • Board of Directors: Gregory Germino.
  • Research Conferences Advisory Committee: Volker Hans Haase.
  • Publications and Communications Committee: Kai Wucherpfennig.
  • Excellence in Science Award Committee: Suzanne Conzen.
