Research profile
Dr. Hahn's laboratory focuses on the understanding the cooperative genetic interactions that lead to malignant transformation. In particular, his laboratory has developed novel experimental model systems for the study of normal and malignant epithelial biology and helped to develop genome scale tools that permit the manipulation of genes in a comprehensive manner. Using these tools, they are engaged in systematic studies to identify and validate new targets for translational studies in cancer. Clinically, he is a member of the Lank Center for Genitourinary Oncology and is devoted to the development of new therapeutic strategies for the treatment of prostate and other cancers.
