Research profile
Sridhar Ramaswamy is Tucker Gosnell Investigator and Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center, Harvard Medical School, Broad Institute of Harvard and MIT, and Harvard Stem Cell Institute. Dr. Ramaswamy's research is focused on identifying genetic networks that regulate cancer drug resistance. His laboratory uses genome-scale profiling technologies to generate global views of human cancer at the molecular level; methods in cell biology and engineering to experimentally model cancer progression and drug resistance in vitro and in vivo; high-throughput genetic, chemical, and imaging tools to functionally interrogate these models; and computational biology and statistics for the in silico integration and analysis of this complex data stream. Dr. Ramaswamy's clinical practice focuses on the care of patients with solid tumors.
